Our story

Owiwi (noun, Yoruba language): Owl

Yoruba is a language spoken in West Africa. Yoruba culture is largely based
on its people’s love for playing recreational and mind-challenging games.

The owl, Owiwi’s logo, is the symbol of knowledge and wisdom in Greek mythology.

The owl, as a nocturnal animal, can see what others cannot see, and Owiwi’s Greek roots, love of play and  ability to reveal hidden talents and skills could not be more accurately represented than with this enigmatic emblem.
